Preparatory Faculty for Foreign students

At the preparatory faculty /PF/ of Kuban State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism /KSUPhEST/ training of students for entering higher educational institutions of the city of CIS /Commonwealth of Independent States/ is carried out annually in the period from September (October) to June.
Upon graduating from the faculty they are given the certificate that allows them to continue their education at higher educational institutions of Russia and countries of CIS in different profiles:
• Medicine and Biology / disciplines studied are: Russian, informatics, country science, physical education, biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics/;
• Techniques /disciplines studied are: Russian, informatics, country science, physical education, chemistry, mathematics, physics, drawing/;
• Economics / disciplines studied are: Russian, informatics, country science, physical education, economics, mathematics, geography/;
• Humanities / disciplines studied are: Russian, informatics, country science, physical education, literature, geography /.
Qualified teachers who master foreign languages work at the preparatory faculty. They have many years experience of work with foreigners at the elementary stage of education, including countries abroad as well.
The studying process is carried out with the help of the newest lexical-grammatical text-books and it is based on the modern methods of teaching.
Besides teaching at our preparatory faculty we have been ready to offer you different programmes of additional education:
• courses of Russian for all those who wish to /beginning with the zero level to the advanced one/;
• tutorial / individual lessons;
• business Russian / Russian for businessmen, for medical workers, specialists in the oil-gas sphere, etc/;
• work on probation for teachers of Russian as a foreign language, and teachers of special disciplines of the preparatory faculty;
• away sessions.
Training in Russian can be also provided within the frames of getting higher / Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree / and post-graduate education / post-graduate courses, Doctor’s Degree, professional skill improvement faculty at the Kuban State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism in the following specialties: “Physical education and sports”, “Adaptive and health-related physical education”, “Life-security activity”, “Social-cultural service and tourism”, “Production of performances and holidays adapted for the stage”, “Public relations”, “Economics and management at the enterprise”, “Organisational management”, “Pedagogics and psychology”, “Pedagogics and methods of preschool education”.

Documents that are necessary:
To registrate the initiation for studying students have to apply:
• passport copy
• birth certificate copy
• school education certificate copy
They also should apply the information about their residence address, if there are any relatives in Russia; they should leave their contact telephone numbers and to name the chosen education profile.
Upon arriving a student should apply legalized documents about his (her) education and a birth certificate.
In 2007 – 2008 studying cost is:
- preparatory faculty: 30 000 roubles;
- individual lessons: 200 – 500 roubles per hour.
Additional expenditures are:
• living at the students’ hostel costs 10 000 roubles;
• medical insurance policy costs 4 700 roubles;
• registration of documents costs about 5 000 roubles;
• registration of invitation costs 1000 – 1500 roubles.
