The University can offer different programmes for students’ rest.
The library of KSUPhEST is a scientific-informational institution, a supporting facility of the teaching process and scientific activity. All the necessary conditions for students’ educational activity and for scientific-research work of the teaching staff, post-graduates, magistrates have been created at the library. In the library reading room there are places equipped with new computers for working with multi-media editions and with computer studying aids.
Also in the city there are a great number of libraries. One of them is called by the name of the greatest Russian poet and writer Alexander S. Pushkin. This library is the biggest and oldest library in the Krasnodar Region. It was founded in 1900. It has about 1.5 million books in its stocks.
For leisure the University can offer to the student gyms, sport halls and sport grounds (for football, volleyball, basketball, handball, tennis, body-building, etc.), swimming-pool, museum of the Kuban Sport History. Also during the academic year different trips and tours are provided.
In the city students can visit different theaters: Drama Theater, Music Theater (opera, ballet, music comedy), Theater of Youth, Puppet-Show, Philharmonic Theater, Organ Hall, - Concert Halls, Circus, museums. Students can spend their spare time walking in beautiful parks of the city, visiting different shows and performances, cafes, disco.
