FACULTY OF ADAPTIVE AND HEALTH IMPROVING PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The enrollment of students is 447, including foreign students. The teaching staff includes professors, lectures, teachers and practitioners; 645 of them have scientific degrees and 34 staff members are Honored Workers of Physical Education and Sport of the Russian federation and the Kuban Region.

In the course of their study students have an opportunity to gain additional secondary medical education where they receive the qualification of a “Physician’s Assistant”.
Faculty’s graduates have successfully gained their employment in the establishments of public education, in the sphere of physical education and sports, in healthcare, in different law-enforcement agencies and Security Services, in a subdivision of Ministry of Emergency Affairs.
The faculty trains students in the following specialities and specializations:
- Physical Education and Sport (physical and health improving technologies);
- Physical Education for Disabled People [Adaptive Physical Education] (physical rehabilitation, adaptive physical education);
- Protection of People and Territories in Extreme Situations from Accidents of Natural and Techno-Genetic Origin;
- Principles of Personal and Social Safety.
